Sony UMPC

So how does Sony boil their UX180P down to its most basic value proposition. The close up from their retail display reveals the answer:

1. Wireless broadband (from partner, Cingular/At&T)
2. It’s more than just a crappy UMPC
3. It’s light to carry, and keeps you cool in the summer
4. It can act just like a desktop computer
5. With bluetooth, you’ll never have to ask for directions again.

I don’t think it’s the most compelling set of attributes for Sony to hone in on, but if you are close enough to the display to read this, you aren’t actually reading it. You’re playing with the unit itself. It sells itself.
