I posted just a few days ago that Asus has sold more than 40,000 units since September. That's around 20000 per month. Is this a weak number for you? Rather it seems like it just proves what all the press, and reviews have been saying, that is the devices are missing a lot of functionality and are not selling so they are selling them at a loss. It has been about 10 months with MS putting millions in marketing and the sales are weak, no where near the millions computer industry analysts say the UMPC's need establish to survive. The UMPC's need major hardware upgrades along with price drops to sell better. Ideally they need more to differentiate such as a more pocket size versions to justify the price. People will pay more for a keyboard based laptop in your pocket, that would be a great evolution for UMPC devices.
